Gentleman!

I was checking my fuses in the box next to the battery and since then ive now got the traction light , tyre pressure and a amber steering light on my dash

Fault code says g85 steering angle sensor

Ive tried resetting it doing the lock to lock but it has not worked

Im hoping its something silly like me putting a fuse in the wrong place

Could someone be kind enough to take a picture of the fuse box under the bonnet next to the battery so i can see where the fuses go?

I cant find a decent diagram for the locations either

Thanks a lot! :)

Sounds like you managed to disconnect the power to the car, those systems need to reset. Take the car for a quick run and all three lights should reset after a short distance.

Done 60mile , still on :(

I also have a fault with the rear speed sensor which caused the abs/tcs and tps to flag up lights, the wheel light come on after i did the fuses so i have 4 lights on in total but i plan to change the rear hub nezt week

Would this affect the g85?

Does carista let you view live data for certain measuring blocks. You could look at the steering wheel sensor and see what degrees it thinks the car is at.
Unfortunatley it don't
Its basicly a glorified code reader which gives detailed fault codes, allows you to do coding (beep on lock etc) and resets service lights lol

My mechanic has a high end snap on , would this do it?

That's a shame, a lot of people have carista. I have the obdeleven and it's like a portable VCDS.

I don't know tbh, I guess the snap-on is more of a generic reader but if it can read live data from sensor etc you would think so. You basically want to see if the steering sensor picks up you moving the wheel lol.
