Current factory-order lead times, from order to arrival at your dealership, are shown below:

    Updated cw15 2018

(Please note that lead times are calculated from when your order is accepted by the factory, which can often be a number of weeks after it is placed by your dealership)

    Mii 10-12 weeks
    Ibiza 10-12 weeks
    Arona 10-12 weeks
    Toledo 10-12 weeks
    Leon SC 10-12 weeks
    Leon 5dr 10-12 weeks
    Leon ST 10-12 weeks
    Ateca 10-12 weeks
    Alhambra 10-12 weeks

    Additional Lead Times

    Ibiza 1.0 MPI +14 weeks
    Ibiza 1.0 TSI 115 DSG-auto +4 weeks
Ibiza FR (18" alloy wheels) +2 weeks

    Arona 1.0 TSI 115 DSG-auto +14 weeks
Arona FR Sport + 14 weeks
Arona XCELLENCE Lux + 14 weeks

    Leon 1.4 EcoTSI 150 +10 weeks
    Leon 1.8 TSI 180 + 14 weeks
Leon FR (17" alloy wheels) +5 weeks
Leon FR (18" PUM alloy wheels) +3 weeks
Leon FR (18" PUK alloy wheels) +12 weeks
    Leon CUPRA +14 weeks

    Ateca 1.4 EcoTSI 150 +6 weeks
Ateca FR (19" alloy wheels) +12 weeks

There are no additional lead times for any factory option not listed

N.B: Additional lead times are concurrent not consecutive, so an Arona 1.0 TSI 115 DSG-auto XCELLENCE Lux would be +14 not +28 etc

PUM are the new-style 18" Performance Alloy Wheels - the ones that are £385 in the price list/configurator. PUK are the 18" Performance Machined Alloy Wheels.

PUN are the old-style 18" Performance Alloy Wheels - the ones that are £250 in the price list/configurator.

We got ours last Monday and appear to have the 30/3 PUN wheels, we never paid or ticked any boxes for extras, did we get a freebie, as I understand its 17" as standard on the ST FR?

    Hi Scrogg,

Thanks for providing these updates. What is causing such long lead times? Are SEAT selling more cars and can't keep up with production, or is there supply issues?

    Regards
    Oliver

    Short answer? WLTP

...although this is also a major factor. I don't think anyone realised just how quickly the brand was going to grow over the last few years, and as such they have struggled to secure enough production.

    Thanks for the insight.

How does WLTP have an effect? Do they have to run tests against every car built?

Hi Scrogg, I've just ordered an ST FR 1.4 eco tsi 150, well ordered with the dealer who knows when they will actually place the order. but the lead times on this would that mean it would likely fall into a MY19 build?

Why wouldn't they place it immediately?

Unless there just happened to be an exact match to your specification already in the system, yes. There have been no MY19 announcements yet, but considering Leon is now coming to the end of its life I wouldn't expect any major changes.

I've gone for Eclipse Orange, with spare wheel, convenience pack + and park pack and digital dash + 30/3 alloys.
