After much deliberation, (it was a decision Seat v Skoda) and getting used to the idea of the (big) rear end, I have now ordered a Toledo 2.0 TDi Sport DSG in platinum grey with the following options:
17" alloys, Full size spare wheel, Xenon headlights, Electric sunroof, Parking sensors, Rear sliding seats, Heated front seats, Anti dazzle/Rain sensor etc and Bluetooth kit with MP3 head unit.

The sales guy has never seen half of these options, let alone, all on one car!
Had to haggle pretty hard to get a decent discount.
Delivery date is yet to be confirmed, but now Iam in the planning stage of how and where to locate my Panasonic DVD sat nav system and I-pod interface, as I worked out that an I-Pod with IceLink interface to the OEM head unit was a better buy than a CD multichanger, which takes up all the armrest storage space.

Ultimate target, is to take delivery of the car before the endof december, to take advantage of the on-going non 3% loading for Euro4 spec diesels reg before the end of the year! ;)
Cheers,
John.

Um HELLO SEAT, What happens if I get a blow out?

Exactly! - that's what I thought - in the last 2 years I have suffered 3 punctures on motorways, one on the autobhan near Bielefeld, Germany at 8pm - all of these resulted in a shredded tyre! - so much for a tyre repair kit, which is why I have ordered mine with a full size spare wheel.
This is a steel wheel, but obviously doesn't have the speed restriction as with a spacesaver - mind you, the sales guy said that with 17" wheels, you can't order the spacesaver anyway.
The full size wheel does however take up more space - there is a moulded carpet section that covers it, so when you lift the boot floor, there is a raised section to accomodate the wheel, which reduces the underfloor storage space :( .

Well in the Altea where I also got the spare full size 17" I got a full box of bits and pieces that I use to carry in my boot around the wheel in the lower area. 16" x 16" x 16" box of stuff. So even with the wheel you can put all those car nick nacks in the lower area that you don't often use, like the tow rope, the brace, spare bulbs, pump etc. I'm sure the Toledo is the same.

How does it work with the 07 model coming out, I have just ordered a 07 model Toledo Stylance, which I am told will be here in two weeks. I have been assured that it is the 07 model which has spare wheel as standard along with the rear parking sensors, rain & light sensors, dimming rear view mirror, aux in connector. Only thing I have ordered extra is the metalic paint and the bluetooth option.
Think I got a bargin as only paid £12900

How does it work, like how can they deliver a factory built one that fast... they phone around other dealers or check stocks in the UK if they find one they ship it over to the dealer, if they don't they make excuses and you have to wait 6 - 8 weeks. In 2004 it was more like 8 weeks, I waited from July too November for my factory built to order Altea DSG. Good price mind you in relation to Alteas then etc and so forth albeit it's a Toledo.

Not quite what I meant, this person has ordered a Sport model and had to pay for the extras such as light/rian sensor when things like this come as standard on the 07 model? when do they stop building the 06 model and start the 07 model. would have thought if he was ordering last month with loads of extras it would be a factory built 07 model?

Probaly not explaing myself very well !!!
