cheers dave, thanks to all who said clutch swich as i had a look and saw the switch was not hitting the clutch at all so screwed it in so it is now, pushed the clutch down and lught went out and revs perfect now thanks so much gus the garage wanted £100 to do this job that took me 10 mins. thanks so much
