overheating

hi there.. my 20v turbo leon 2001 has started overheatin or so it says. heats up very fast even tho its cold out then passes the 60 mark up to 90 when the red light and beep start??? funny thing is my air con doesnt blow warm except when the temp gets to top ov the dial at 90????? is this a sensor or the pump and what would it cost me at garage??? can anyone tell me plz!!! thx nik

Are the fans working ok?
Check the top of the battery to see if a fuse as gone.
If not chances are it's the water pump.

Just had mine done you can buy all the bits for £120 delivered (cam belt full kit and water pump) from seremotors on here, then you just need it doing.

Varies madly, buy the kit yourself and supply it so you just pay the labour is my advise.

Or it's from £250+ Its about 2 1/2 hours labour which is the killer.
