To be honest in Spain the only parking sensor is normally the bump as you hit the car behind (or in front).

In March I watched a lady driver hit both the car in front and behind 3 times each whilst parking outside our apartment. Luckily, neither vehicle was mine.

It's a Mediterranean thing, exactly the same in France! We spend a fair bit of time considering parking spaces based on where the car next to us might end up!

To expand on what I said before though, most Spanish garages are terribly designed with pillars everywhere and misaligned ramps and gates, so once people have picked up scratches in those they stop caring so much! I've seen Porches here with the sort of light damage a British owner would probably never tolerate!

Seat have ditched most options now it seems. It's a shame- I want adaptive cruise, but I'm not fussed about the keyless entry, the front sensors, or the rear camera which the Xcellence all comes with. I'm going to end up going for the Xcellence Lux I think, but I'd much rather get an FR Sport and add the ACC and rear sensors!
