PC/Explorer Issue.........

Not sure where to post this, but a friend of mine has recently had cable broadband installed.

Now their getting explorer hang-ups on some but no all internet screen.

For Seatcupra.net, home page is fine as are most others, but access the forum page and explorer freezes (PC doesnt lock-up though). Can either wait 60 secs or so and the original page (home page) is accessable again, or can end task for the non-responding link.

This happens on various other sites too.

Cookies/firewalls/security played around with - no better. Also tried a java upgrade. No better.

So what is different about the forum page ?? Any ideas what I can check for before a whole fresh install ?

Had an initial go at this and so far so good (she (aka mum)) couldnt actually download from Firefox, but I managed to and sent her the attachment which worked.

She was able to get into this forum at last (she obviously had no real desire to) - so now she will try the other sites - more relevant to her.

Dont know why explorer 6.0 has fecked up so bad,
