Hi all, wondering if anyone can advise,
I'm firing a big turbo soon and I ordered millers nanodrive cfs 5w40 to replace the oil, It doesn't actually comply to any spec, of any manufacturer, as as far as I know with it being a triple ester based oil, It supersedes every spec there is,
How ever, I know the pd engine can have cam issues with the wrong oil.
Does vw approved oil have some sort of extra additive etc that makes it suitable for a pd? Or, does the pd just require a really good oil that withstands the stress of the pd cam? Which I should imagine the millers coping with fine, being one of the best oils there is.
Cheers all
Kyle
