Have you had any luck with number plate led's? I got these but am getting error light and warning.

I'm also looking for number plate bulbs now, only got those and the fogs left to change now.

Ideally don't want resistors if at all possible, plug and play would be nice

With those above I get error light and warning 9 times out of 10, i don't want resistors either! What is it with number plate bulbs, is it cos they're festoon type???

With LEDs it's due to the canbus system and the facelift cars are more sensitive to it. Think it's because it detects bulb failure by current draw and the LEDs with them being so low show as bulb failure, even with resistors built in on some

Funny how it's always number plate ones tho, the DRL's and sidelight ones are fine!

Well I had issues with the sidelights so they are on osram cool blue... Seems a lot of people were using the partsulike ones but it's just the newer cars being fussy.. Such a pain
