Problems With Opening & Closing Driver Side Window

Hi!

Owner of a 64 Plate FR 184 since new and never had any issues with the car up until today exactly a week after the warranty has run out!

Yesterday I couldn't open my driver side window using the window button/switch all the other windows work.

However I can open and close the window using the key

So what could be the fault? What could be the fix?

If it opens & closes using the key - it sounds like it is the switch.

Is the interior light working properly with the door ? - IE does the car know the door is open or shut ?

Interior light is working fine

Will be taking into the deanship after boxing day to see how much they will charge for a new switch
