Bear in mind this was only ONE projector, you can hardly see the other headlights beam.

You can see the blue/violet cut off colour.

As a comparison, this is my H7R 5000K HID dipped beam.

Why don'y you have the kick up like i do on my projectors like this \__ \__
Are you 100% sue you have legal projectors for the UK?

Nice modding buy the way :)

There is a kick up on the first 3 output pics. It's above the right hand gate bolt.
It's not very clear as the projector is quite close to the gate.
They have a RHD cutoff shield.

The last output shots are from my H7R HID kit, which loses the defined kick up.

Whilst I'm testing the lamps, I'll take some better pics.

The missus has R53 Cooper S projector headlamps on her Mini, which has the same style kick up.
They also have the continental lever on the cutoff shield which drops the kick up & just has a flat output beam.
Mine doesn't have a continental lever.

Very nice mod Jon, cant wait to see when its all mounted and done :)
Perhaps you should make a complete parts list, including prices just to make a comparison with oem xenons when you are all done :)

OK, here's a parts list of what I've used:-

Pair of 2008 Altea headlamps on ebay - £53 (new Leon headlamps from Seremotors are £90 each)
FXR Bi-xenon RHD projector kit from retrofitsource.com (USA) - £180 incl shipping
Kit includes pair of Bi-xenon projectors, D2S 4300K bulbs, D2S to Amp adapters & pair of shrouds.
I've used my existing ballasts, but a pair of Hella ballasts from retrofitsourece are about £70.
Flexible Carbon Fibre sheet A5 size from carbonmods.co.uk - £18
5 metre strip of butyl rubber sealant from ebay - £7

Fixtures include M4 cap head screw & nuts, Araldite & acrylic filler - approx £15

I would estimate all of this has cost me around £300.

Update:-

Fitted the headlamps at the weekend with no real problems. Bumper & headlamps are fairly easy to take off. Connector plug to the headlamps are a pain though.
Tested the bi-xenons for alignment & the O/S one needed moving to left. I got so far along & "pop"!!
The top adjuster came out!
So, need to take the headlamp off again & pop the adjuster back in.

As far as light output............ boy are they bright!!
Far, far brighter than halogens & a lot more widespread coverage than my HID kit.
Main beam is amazing. The range has doubled. You can pick out objects in the distance, as though it was daylight.
Very pleased, just need to fine tweek them.

Oh, forgot to mention that I removed the LED sidelights & replaced with a pair of xenon white 5W bulbs that were free from autobulbsdirect.co.uk

Although bright, the LEDs were too blue for my liking & didn't match the 4300K D2S dipped beam.
The xenon white 5W bulbs are a perfect match!
