As title suggests, I have a new engine to put in tomorrow so the plan is to remove my engine and box complete to swap over the ancillaries when they are side by side, in the seat manual it says remove the bumper, slam panel and rad /heat exchanger.... The air con is already empty so no worries there but I'm curious if all that needs to be removed ? As usual any comments appreciated..... Car is a 1.9 asz TDI

Not done an Ibiza, but on pretty much any other car I've done it's always easier with the front end out of the way.
I assume you've got a decent engine crane?

I have had to remove absolutely everything from the front of the car and I do have a crane yes .... Not a direct fit because this is an earlier MK4 and mine is an 06 ..... Going to have another go at it today once I get motivated
