question about 20s rim for Leon 4wd

hi boys and girls

im up to buy 4 20 inch rims for my leon, i am a bit worried do, because i heard that 8.5" is the biggest that i could use and these i have found is 9x 20

is it so , that i cant use 9x20???

I have 7.5inch rims with a 10mm spacer on an LCR the rims are right at the edge of the wheel arch. I would say 8inch are the biggest unless you flare the arch's.

the Toyo tyre I used gave a slightly 'stretched' look but the rim is directly in line with the wheel arch.

Rick C has 20 inch rims perhaps ask him what size he used???

have been spoken to Rick very much , he thinks it would go on with 9x20s on my Leon , but i wanted to be sure , so thats why i posted this thread to see if there are others that is 100% sure

I've got 8inch wheels allround (17" thought; ET35) no problems, even thinking of some spacers for the back end.

you have to buy wheels with small ET,I would like to buy new wheels next month and the biggest what I can use is 8,5 and ET 35.

I know both Saul and I run 18x8.5 and it's about 1-1.5cm from the strut.
