When I bought mine this year from a SEAT dealer they were clear that in the UK servicing is every 10000, not variable.

However, in the MFD menus - SETTINGS I think - you can use the dash ZERO or steering wheel buttons to reset the service mileage.

It's definitely in the manual too.

Service interval

Now I'm confused.

Supplying dealer says interval is 10000.
Local dealer says its variable according to the MFD indicator.

Which is correct?

Servicing Schedule

OK, Near the front of the Service handbook is a page of option codes. Also apparently on a label somewhere in the spare wheel well.

If code QI6 is there - that's for variable length servicing (up to 30000km)
QI1 QI2 etc (but not QI6) is fixed interval servicing - and different oil specs.

QI6 means there is longlife oil in the engine from the factory.

So when topping up the oil you need to know what type to put in (or the car may reduce your variable service interval!

Also tell the dealer which you want when having a service on your car - you can switch from fixed to long-life depending on your needs and daily mileage.
