Is it common practice for this company to charge your card when they say they'd only do it when they have the item in stock, but then send you an invoice/reciept in the post without the item you ordered?

One would expect the goods & reciept in the same package @ the same time.

Very odd in my books.

I would phone them up and find out whats going on.If the product hasnt been sent to you yet get your money back or block the payment.

WHen I ordered something it was shipped seperately because it came from a different place

Thats probably why.

Its not overdue as such as it was ordered less than 5 days ago, just thought it was odd to receive the reciept on its own.

like m0rk says... usually when goods come direct from manufacturer/main agent type thing.

Said item was awaiting me when I got back this evening. Delivery whithin a week, cant really complain.
