Anyone got any ideas or had this problem before . When i go over speed bumps or bumps in general the rear squeaks , its so annoying . Ive check the arb bushes and they look fine but what else would make that noise . I have koni suspension and prolines and neuspeed arb and there pretty newish say within the last 20000miles so i doubt its them .

The strange thing about this problem is when i wash the car it goes for abit , so its like something get lubricated and when it dries it comes back . With this cold weather its even worse now so i wanna try get it sorted .

Any help and advice greatly appreciated

Cheers

lol I had exact same problem. You've probably damaged your bushes after changing the suspension. I never found the actual bush in question but just got s hark to replace my bushes with polybush ones.

A can of WD40 with a straw on it is your friend. Spray the WD40 onto one component at a time until the noise stops. The WD40 will be a temporary fix but it will tell you where the fault is.

you may have worn bump stops? however this would make more of a knocking noise usually. this is a long shot but a friend of mine had a very similar problem in a different car a while ago, and it was sending him mad as he could'nt locate the cause. it actually turned out to be his boot door lock was very slightly loose allowing the rubber seal to squeak on the bodywork...

I will try the wd40 trick to eliminate if it is worn bushes . I will also check the rear door locks and hinges and boot lock , never even give that a thought could well be that . also going to take the spare wheel out and c if that eliminates any noise as my pal has just told me he had the problem on his zs .
If none of these work i will have to strip the rear suspension and give it a good inspection and change all bushes . Il b on this the weekend , thanks for all advice

Its not the bushes that'll ruin ya, its the labour, cost me £600

I take it that was all round ? . Ive seen the full kits on ebay for £450ish . £150 for fitting doesnt seem a bad price considering all the suspension has to be dropped . Id pay someone £150 to fit a whole kit . Was there a good amount of difference to justify the £600 price tag as i may consider this

Does any one know what specific bush it is that could be damaged or need replacing?
