rear auxilary heater question.

should my rear heater be running even with the heater turned off ?

Its my understanding that when external temps are low (below 10 degrees or thereabouts) then this heater will run to increase coolant temp so your engine/cabin are warmer quicker - even if you have the cabin fans off.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm mistaken on the above.

Thanks Angarak. That is what I reckon as well. It seems dependant on the temp, just not used to having a diesel I suppose.
