Hi,
I am still trying to get my Leon 2005 1.9 FR TDI through its MOT as cheaply as possible!!!
Seems like i have a seized rear caliper and handbrake cable plus need new discs and pads and coil springs, i was looking at getting a caliper repair kit for my Lucas caliper but getting confused their seems to be 2 different sizes of piston a 38mm and a 41mm can anyone shed light on the correct size and is it a 232 mm solid disc?
Is the hand brake cable easy to fit?
Thanks in advance for any help.

232mm solid disks and 38mm pistons.

Only the LCR and the VR6 had vented rear disks (which you would find hard to mistake for anything else) and the 41mm pistons were fitted to the LC.

I've never fitted a handbrake cable to one of these cars so I can't tell for sure if it is difficult, but the instructions seem straightforward. Don't forget to adjust it properly afterwards.

Hi we've got a Leon FR 1.8 20vt petrol 2005 Black Magic facelift. Does anyone know if the caliper pistons are 38mm or 41mm on ours?
Thanks
