Hi
Several years ago I was very grateful for ideas on how to prevent water leaking in via the door carrier plates.
Recently my rear NS door lock has become intermittent: sometimes not locking, sometimes not opening (requiring 2 or 3 presses on the fob before it functions). Last weekend it totally locked up and today I have forced it open using pliers through the hole where the internal door pull can be removed.
What is the next step?
I have removed all the trim and the magnetically operated part sometimes moves but sometimes doesn't. I've tried spraying WD40 everywhere but I'm guessing something more serious is required.
All suggestions gratefully received: thanks - Gordon
