Hi all.
I'm new to all this.
I've just brought a Seat Leon MK1 1.9 TDI. (Lovely car) however with all the heavy rain we have been having I have noticed that I have a leak in the rear passenger footballs on both sides.

Can anyone please help?

Common problem.
Can be a few things.
Can be the door hinge mechanism.
The rear light cluster
Or the door seals themselves.

Badger5 Custom Map + TIP,
3”Custom exhaust, FMIC, Bosh 550’s, BC Coilovers, ARB’s +loads more.

Signs of water ingress.
If you have a hose. Soak the outside then open and see which parts have become wet.
If on the door sill etc it’s the door or hinge.
The seals inside the door cards perish and need replacing. Sometimes it’s been bodged with the likes of kitchen sealant.
There are thousands of guides on how to do the door seals.

The holes are there, they are just often difficult to find. The first pic is of the seal, the second pic is looking down inside a stripped out door.

This is the kind of sealant you need. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HIGH-PER...a=1&pg=2334524&_trksid=p2334524.c100667.m2042

All 4 doors now have clean drain holes. All the day 2 day crap all blown out with a air gun and seals all cleaned with brake cleaner. Then car washed with a industrial jet wash and by the looks of it no leak. :)

Unless it's been sealed with the butyl, then chances are it will still leak even with the drain holes unblocked mate. i will keep my fingers crossed for you though.
