Hi guide, iv just removed my rear lights so that i could do my fly eyes kit (wanted to make a good job of it so i wanted my lights out). I thought id do a guide while i was at it 
Before
First of all there are two torx bits that need removing.
Then there is a thumb screw that will need removing, and the plug for the light will need taking out,
Repeat on other side,
2 rear lights and my fly eyes kit
now for the other parts, easy enough, its an 8mm socket, you will need to remove the big plastic cover (2 screws in the handles), then there are 3 nuts holding the light in, 2 are under the ruber gromets,

this been the third,
easy enough to do only took me about an hour to complete everything and put back on the car hope this helps anyone trying to do this
