So yesterday, a bulb out warning light appeared on the dash. Got to work, left car running and checked everything. When I got in the car to turn it off, the light had gone.
It came on again on the drive home and turned out to be a n/s rear sidelight. No problem, easy bulb change.
Anyways, today came to change the bulb and it didn't work. Changed the orientation as they are W5W bulbs and still nothing. So tried another one and still nothing. The bulb holder for this light contains the reverse light bulb and this is working fine.
Tried the two new W5W bulbs in the sidelight that works and they are fine (incidentally, the old bulb is indeed naff). Checked the wires and they are all connected tightly into the connector.
So, I'm pretty confused as it seems only half the bulb holder is working. Anybody have any ideas what could be the issue?
