Mine popped off in the engine bay, simply fastened the two pipes back together. Would have jubilee clipped it if I had one but I just taped it and its been over a year now and its still working fine.

I refitted mine (20VT FR) as it had popped off the joint under the airbox.

Sisters 2004 1.2 has the same fault - however boot joint is ok and I couldn't locate the join in the engine bay (or the hose routing for that matter), I was expecting it to be the same as my FR. Anyone know if there is different routing on the 1.2 to other models?

Not sure about a different routing, but with mine there were two different types of piping either side of the join in the engine bay, this through me to start with when I was tracing the pipe.

On mine there was a black smooth pipe from the washer reservoir to the join, then a black corrugated pipe after the join.

ok need help haha.

pipe has popped off in the boot. iv taken the 5 screws out but cannot for the life of me get the trim off. I know everyone says just pull firm and hard but does anyone have any other advice on getting the boot trim off?? like the best spot to start from etc. iv spent a while now trying to remove it and havent unclipped even one clip.

get your fingers on it where it meets the bottom of the rear screen & give it a good yank mate, works for me every time i have to take it off. just if the clips come off the trim & get stuck on the holes theyre an absolute tw*t to get out.

i couldnt find it on my 1.2 either. its on in the boot & rear quarter so its gotta be split at the front but i cant see where for the life of me. ive gotta take the inner wheel arch off this week so ill have a look in there for it & let you know wether i find the pipe in there

right lads got the boot panel off and didnt break any clips. 5 were left in the metal but eventually got them out. fixed the rear wiper pipe. BUT on refitting, i managed to break 2 clips (the plastic part) on the one side. so now i have a rattle, the one thing i was trying so ****ing hard to avoid. i need to get the 2 metal clips out because they are just sitting in the holes rattling away. but im afraid to take off the boot trim again in case i break more. its probably still going to rattle once/if i get the screws out. anyone have any advice? would i be better off buying a new boot trim??

if jou get your fingers under the wiring loom behind the battery below the ecu. it is under that. i pulled all mine out & re routed where it can be seen now incase it happens again, but thats where it is on the 1.2s if you still cant find it ill put a photo or diagram up for you

having a bit of bother locating the pipe in my 1.2 this would be great if you could put a pic up when you have a sec.

ive put a red circle around the area where i found it on mine.i got my fingers under that big black wiring harnes & could feel the end of the split pipe. i did the rear squirter first so water came out to help me find it. hope this helps. ps forgive the state of my filthy engine bay in this photo. its spotless now & this is an old photo :)

think your ibiza is a mk5 so might be better off in that section. i got mine fixed at the garage, i think the hose was just loose
