"OEM VAG ignition coils (06E 905 115E). Includes a set of 4 coils to fix your mis-fire problems and add some color to your engine bay in one easy step"

Has anyone tried these coils yet?

they're just coil packs.
what are you expecting, some kind of miracle?

new coils better than tired old coils generally

Got some myself on my Stg 2 Leon FR. Match the Red car so I thought why not. Not noticed any improvement apart from better idle. Old coils were 55k old. The red topped ones were the same price.

I've also noticed better idle as well, and also acceleration is smoother, overall a smoother ride, but nothing out of the blue, just a slight difference

Never had a problem misfiring. My mechanic will change them for these as his cupra is misfiring a little. He told me that the red coils are used in an Audi R8, which version? Didn't ask but he did a course on ignition coils at Seat and these were used as an example, he has notes from the course including results

Placebo, if you tried them back to back and you didn't know which were installed, I bet you couldn't tell them apart!

They're just red, and new, and originally from another model of car..... that's it.

I just wanna make this clear the red coils are not gonna make your car faster or give more horsepower
The facts, they are used in the R8, you can check the reference number, it matches
They provide better spark and thus better combustion, my mechanic who worked for Seat saw this in a course regarding ignition coils with facts and figures. As a result the car runs smoother and acelerates smoother but I'm not talking about a major difference, he's tried my car with red coils versus his cupra and it was noticeable. Of course if your ignition coils are old the difference is obvious and misfiring issue should be eliminated. I have no more to say, I can understand differences of opinion but I'm not bullshiting

and I'm telling you the "difference" is the fact its new coils being compared to "old" ones... so yep, the improvements are real, BUT dont for one moment expect new coils for new coil ther to be ANY perceivable or measurable difference.

I've tested all these coil packs, and zero difference compared between all the "new" coils I tested on the dyno, BUT for sure an old coil vs a new coil, there was a definite improvement.. THATS the point I am making ;)

for the benefit of others who may just skim read this post in future
