So i recently picked up a Seat Leon FR 2008 and it has a small red light that is active near the temperature dial.
No codes present and the MFD doesnt display anything. The system has water and it keeps the temperature fine.
I've tried googling and came up with people have the light flash and making sounds, but mine is just constantly on.
Any ideas on what it wants me to do?

Oddly enough mine has recently had this issue. It came on only around half brightness, no other warnings no codes. It then proceeded to come and go, and has, for now, gone.

I suspect a failing sensor or bad connection from either the coolant temp sensor or the coolant level sensor. Worst case is the wiring has a short somewhere, but that wouldn't explain the intermittent nature of it.

I've done some digging on my car and I can't decide where to start so i have given up for now, I assume at some point a sensor / connection will fail and give a code and warning and then I can act.

It is annoying though and does catch the eye.
