remaps on standard clutch?

got a 2007 leon, pd140 ere

getting it remapped at the end of the week here, wondering about how well the standard clutch will hold

its a stage 1 map (180bhp) and the car has 60k on it

it will be fine! Just dont boot it under about 2.5k

what rating does the standard one have anyway? or is it measured in torque? lb ft

If the PD140 has the same set up as the PD170, i know there all the same size 240mm but not sure if its the same kit. Then ive been running mine for nearly 2 years at 350-360lb.ft and it was fine, when we removed it all last week it looked fine

Is it just the diesels that have clutch issues due to the torque stats or do the petrol fr/cupra have the same problems?

Depends if you floor your car away from traffic lights etc

I don't absue my clutch so I can see it lasting a while
