Long time no visit on here, so here's what’s new: VW Polo GTI front seats: Haven't got any pictures of them in the car, but they fit ok (thought they wouldn't because of the color), and they're loads better then the Ibiza seats ATE PowerDisks (don't mind the fancy slippers ): Had them in 288mm and they were great so went for them again (on 312mm)! Drilling the front grill: Before After: Still have to do 2-3 holes because i couldn't drill them on the car because the IC piping is in the way. Also a Whiteline rARB should be arriving some time next week...
Very nice Renda.... I love the last shot It also looks like the flies have been drilling your bumper too
I wonder who took that shot... Vekic's skill and a bit of my PS to it... Altech - it was the first thing i noticed when i've put on the cupra bumper. And seeing your job on the grill, i had to do the same, just took me a while...
There is a much easier way to drill out the blocked up honeycombs. If you remove the bumper you can actually grind/sand away the piece of plastic that blocks up the honeycombs from behind. It's much easier and quicker, I wish I knew about that method before I did mine.
Same here then! Never mind. At least i spent some quality time with my girlfriend, drilling the bumper!
your car is stunning. i really need a set of them headlights. ive only seen one ibiza with them headlights in the uk.
Not yet, ill take some one day now. Theyre just great compared to the original seats, loads better support!
This weekend I took off the front bumper to clean the intercooler and pipes and to finish drilling all the holes in the front bumper. Also cleaned the engine bay a bit... So here are some pictures:
Yeah the seats look really good they look more supportive too. Are you going to leave your engine cover off?
Thanks guys! Ad law - hehe, the avatar looks mean and low... Altech - Yup, leaving the cover off. I think it just keep unnecessary heat under the bonnet. Plus the pipes look nice and shiny. I'm still waiting for the damn rear ARB! Can't wait to get it on the car and try it out! Hope it will be a good improvement on the handling as most people say it is!
cant believe ive only just found this thread - awesome ibiza mate, stylish but subtle - very nicely done ;-) and some lovely photos too ben
Here's some updates from a while back... Painted strut bar Rear Cupra bumper (finally!) This saturday the car was completly polished (for the first time in 7 years)
