No, we’ve already got a space saver kit that fits the SEAT (fortunately..), though it’s limited to 50mph. Irritatingly the flat is at the front, so I’ve swapped a good rear with the flat front so that the space saver is at the back. So all I want is a replacement tyre..

I think I’ve got to the bottom of the problem though; all of the major tyre sites use the registration number to come up with a tyre spec of 215/40/R18 91W, and then don’t have that spec in stock..

Actually it’s fitted with 215/40/R18 89 W, which are in stock

Strangely Bridgestone UK don't list any 215/40R18 89W or 91W???

They only offer 1 Summer tyre the crappy RE050A with a load of 85Y.

I think they must be new, or newish...definitely whats fitted. But if you put 215/40/18 into most of the websites you get the BMW approved run-flats. Assume that MINIs or something come with them?

Blackcircles didn’t list them, but they were coming to swap the winter wheels on the BMW (great timing!!) so I asked the fitter last week if they could could source one and do all of the tyres at the same time, which they did
