I've been trying to get mine turned off for a while now, I have LED's in all 4 of my side lights and the bulb out warning is on all the time. I have had a good search and came up with this http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=300247 so I went to see my mate who has VCDS and as soon as we started poking about in the software, there was no Byte02, Bit2 to turn off 
Could some kind soul out there with VCDS, some spare time and a MK5 Ibiza (Cupra if it's ECU specific) please have a look and see if there is a way of turning it off altogether. I don't mind if it's all the bulb diagnostics, I check my lights once a month in summer and every couple of weeks in winter.
