Rough on start up

Hi there. I have a mk2 Leon Cupra, an it sounds like a diesel on start up every time. Any ideas on this. Also when I turn on the heaters the fan occasionally kicks in at cold temps.

Someone else mentioned this as well.

I also mentioned mine (fr) sounds like diesel in start up as well. Theyre noisy engines it seems.

Not sure haven't checked the revs on it when starting, will check tho. it seems like the battery is goin flat. But it had a brand new one fitted when I bought it.

Ah I see I haven't checked that deep into the forums as yet. Was any sound advice given? Or is it just every FR/Cupra?

Does it only sound like this when you first start the car after not driving it for a while, say first thing in the morning?

Yea sounds like it every morning, from stone cold. Revs don't rise on it tho. Every start up every day.
