Running temp????

My 04 lcr wont get to 90 degrees it's fluctuates between 65 and 80

My first guess is the thermostat, had a look on the forums and it points in this direction.

Any input from anyone? How big a job?

Thermostat, 20 min job with the right tools.

Will a OEM stat be okay or is there a updated one I could use? I see opening at 88 is the norm

I bought this one from ECP - 209440165, then got a local garage to fit it. As xDaNx said, its about a quick job.

Worked a treat - also replaced a few other bits and pieces (expansion tank, temperature sensor), but the car now warms up much quicker and stays at the right temperature.
