Safe to drive 400+ miles / any one know the sound?!

Evening,

Just started in the last few days, on breaking and turning the wheel anti clockwise there is a croaking sound from the drivers side... sounds like it is directly below the pedals. Any one know

I am trading in the car in 1 week (new car on order) and dont really want to splash out a fortune to get it fixed !

I have to drive appx 400 miles this weekend, wondering if it is desperate to fix or not :|

Might be an anti roll bar bush...

Hire a car for like £20 & it'll be a lot safer!

was the offside lower bush, split apparently! hired a car for 48 quid for 4 days cos they cant fix it in time!

oh well, thanks anyway, your predictions were correct!

Cool. Easy & quick fix, and £48 for four days is pretty reasonable too
