Hi Everyone.
Just a little top tip i had to share with everyone whos inadvertently scratched their dash as the plastic is so hard and coarse (MK4 Ibiza im talking here).
The answer is Shoe/Boot Polish! Got a tin of Kiwi boot polish wax and rubbed the stuff into and around the problematic areas. Do several coats running in every direction - the thick black wax penetrates the scratched whitened plastic and makes it black again, aswell as filling in some of the smaller gaps.
Once youve done that, leave for a while and buff off with a clean duster or brush. Spray with a silicone/blackener aerosol to seal and shine it.
Sorry - i would have done before/after photos but i got carried away and did almost the whole car! Ill try to get some this weekend. NOTE: Always try on a discreet area first to test such products!
