scuttle panel removal?

Hi,
Does anyone know how to remove the scuttle panel from a new leon 2.0 tdi sport? I cannot figure it out, and i dont want to break it! Thanks!

Remove the wipers, but remember the passenger wiper nut is reverse thread (clockwise to undo) The scuttle panel pushes into a retainer that is stuck to the bottom of the screen. Start at one end, lifting very carefully once it starts, slide your fingers underneath and slide along (be careful of the sharp edges to the plastic).

Why do you need it off?

Thanks very much for your help. I wanted to get to the 3 bolts that hold the shock absorber top mounts to the turret. I eventually realised that I could gain access by removing the metal panel, that supports the plastic scuttle panel. I was fitting a set of KW coilovers, but I had been sent the wrong size!! (49mm instead of 54mm!!) Only realised once the shock absorbers had been removed
