Hey I just bought this car today. It has 1800km on it 2018 model. To describe my problem when I drove of the car from the dealership there wasn't any problems. On my second trip to the gym I noticed ESC error showing on my dashboard. The light also flashed on the speedometer multiply times. When I was leaving the gym to pick up my gf from work. The car would slip from its gear. It would rev up and get back into gear. Happened twice. After that I was driving normally without any esc problems. But the other issue I had was start and stop still wasn't working and cruise control wasn't working either the cruise control icon had "!" on it.

Im guessing the car was sitting in the dealership for a while and the battery got weakened. So if I drive it a little more the issue will be gone?

The car still has new vehicle waranty 2 years. If it persists I will take it to the dealer.

Don't wait for the issue to persist and potentially worsen - take it to the dealer ASAP, let them know what's been happening and have them fix it, especially if it's affecting safety systems like ESC.

Hopefully it's as simple as a failed sensor or some dodgy wiring, but if it's more than that the cars still under warranty, so you should be fine.

Also when this warnings come up, do take a picture / video when it's safe to do so, so you have proof to bring to the dealer, as sods law is such that, when you do make the trip to the dealer, these lights tend to disappear (been there done that, with another issue though).

My opinion is that if the battery was a bit low, perhaps only the start-stop would be unavaliable for a period of time, as it needs the engine on to power the stuff. The other stuff seems unrelated to the battery...

Yeah that's what happened today when I was taking my car to the dealer. The light was gone by then. I will be ready to record a video as it happens mostly in the mornings before I drive to work. I also had engine light on.

It is under warranty and I just went to the dealership today. I booked a time for the car. I hope its nothing mayor as the car is practically new

So I want to add a little update. As currently the car needs to hit up service. I booked a time today. When my Gf was driving it on the highway to work the car slipped from its gears and she lost a lot of her speed before the Transmission jumped back into gear. Its not safe to drive at all

It's called "false neutral" so you might want to google for it and find matching situation when it happens to compare with yours...
