Seat leon cupra need help please!

Hi, i have a problem with my leon cupra mk1 1.8 20v turbo ko3s 2001, it has the following mods:
Remap, de-cat and a 3" downpipe

But it keeps instantly throwing up 17522, 17526 on my vag scanner which is lamda sensor which was changed for brand new one roughly 12 months ago (along with new maf sensor and 4x coilpacks) but previous owner has blanked off the bank 2 lambda sensor and cable tied it to the chassis? Is normal for decat set up?

Please any ideas or knowledge will be appreciated cheers

I've just done that to mine as some 1 on here said its the thing to do with a de cat to stop the light coming on, and so far so good on mine.

I thought you were supposed to get the lambda sensor mapped out with a decat.
I did when I went stage 2 on my lcr mk1 and fitted a sports cat. Speak to your mappers mate to see if it can be done.

Yer they do map the 2nd lambda out on most stage 2 maps or so I've read.

yeah mate it needs mapped out or that darn light just wont go away
