Selling Mk4's Good Info

Ive been contemplating selling my Mk4 1.2 but almost died when i looked at what i could get for it about £4000 (on a good day) at only 2 years old with 60k on the clock....then i did a bit of research and found that if you take your car to EIRE and sell it you will get about 9500 euros for it which is around £7000 which is only £500 less than i originally paid for it.....not bad so seriously considering it!

If you have a look here http://www.carzone.ie type in the deatils and look at the prices....what do u think? is it too good to be true? have i missed something?

Wont it count as an import and thus not be worth as much? Also, 60k is a lot of miles for 2 years!

the car i compared it to was the exact model as mine only a year older with 52000 miles so i thought they would be roughly the same sort of price, yeh they would be imports but surely that shouldnt effect it too much as we still deal in miles and are RHD like ourselves, cant see it taking anymore than £1000 off of it because of this so it would still be well worth it if i thought i could get arounf £5500-£6000
