I'm looking forward to having a good old gander on this site and hopefully learning a few bits and bobs.
I've decided it's about time to have a little play with my car.
It is 2016 fr tdi 184 with tech pack in dark metallic blue, I've owned her since she was 5 months old with 4k on the clock, she is on 50k now and recently had cam belt and tensioner done under good will by seat.
The things I'll be looking at doing are;
a.) more power, ideally a remap and something that is easily switchable via a button, with power around the 250bhp mark. Can the electronic lsd be remaped too?
b.) lowering springs around 30mm and possibly wheel spacers.
c.) leather front seats, would love to know which of the vag brands are suitable.
d.) my wheels have seen better days, I quite like the style, but I'm thinking of getting them refurbed with a bronze finish. If anybody has a photo or link to share that would be very much appreciated. If I do I may very likely get the wind mirrors done at the same time.
