OK, I'm thoroughly confused. I have a 56 plate 1.9TDI Reference Sport Altea. Ages back I bought a Seat touch up kit for it - presumably I gave them my reg or VIN and they supplied Luna Grey S7Y.

I tried this yesterday and its far too blue. Thinking it must change during drying, I painted some on some plastic and left it. Guess what - it's still too blue.

I checked out with Seat HQ and they gave me code K4-K4 (which also seems to be Luna Grey).

My car is definitely light silver (not graphite dark silver) colour.

Any ideas?

Theres 3 silvers, artic, luna and reflex, all look the same! The light blue is a pearl colour only on the early ones called lluvia

Not much help but the code for the blue is s5v, must have been a mix up!

Have a look in the boot under the carpet. You should find a sticker with various details about your car including the paint code as shown in the picture below...

Funny enough VW gave me a grey that was far too dark. He took my reg and assured me it was correct. I told him it didn't match what was in the boot. My computer isn't wrong he said.
