Sound Proofing + Small trim upgrade

I thought I would mention here seeing as the Arona has the same door cards and interior fittings as an Ibiza.

I quite easily removed the door cards to add sound deadening material to the back of them to reduce noise and vibration. It worked on both accounts! Door cards do sound more solid, stereo sounds better and there is less interior noise/vibration than before.

As an offshoot I also wrapped the interior door handles in carbon fiber as I had to remove them to get to the two star screws that need undoing to remove the door cards. See thread (link below) for pictures, but was an easy and worthwhile hour mod for the door cards including removing and re-fitting then another half an hour to wrap both the door interior handles. Worth doing if you want a small trim upgrade and a quieter life...
