I'm going to add this to my order, when I spoke to the dealer pro halt they said it was Bose.

Is anyone able to confirm this?

Many thanks

its not bose

and i don`t think its canton either

what you get is an extra speaker in the dash and a sub in the boot , and some grille badges

some one needs to compare the standard speakers to the upgraded ones to confirm for sure

mine was delivered sept 2013, must be a change in build

does your reverse mirrors work ?

Mirror dipping was disabled but I enabled enabled it with VCDS but it's not very reliable. Mine was built in Sept but delivered in October.

Does anyone else suffer from vibrating door cards with anything remotely bassy (with the Seat sound)?

I don't think I have the rattling door card problem but I notice a high pitch vibrating from the passenger side when listening to something with a bit more boomf. I have the sub on +2 and the two left most EQ settings on 2 and 3 (l-r).

Not really but it does worry me. No Iron Maiden in the FR...

according to the Bose Automotive website the only association between them and Seat was their use in the Exeo from 2009-2013. maybe some dealer's are still using the tie-in to entice customer's into buying the package.

That's because it's a B7 A4 in a new frock.

And lets face it the A4 wasn't that good to begin with. As an Exeo though, it was pretty good value (as long as you didn't buy it first and let someone else or the dealer take the initial depreciation)

My passenger door vibrates and rattles with any significant volume or bass. Makes it sound awful. Even with the bass and sub zeroed.

my driver side door vibrates too, can't figure out how to sort it. has anyone attempted to or has any pointers in trying to stop it doing so. it is driving me mad and i've only owned the car for a day! i really cannot bring myself to turn the volume up to a reasonable level without it vibrating in my ear.

It may sound a bit sad but any idea what the part number is for the 'Seat Sound' grille badges?

Also the dash speaker costs about a tenner which is a steal if its easy to wire to the existing amp. Obviously the sub will need an upgraded amp I assume but does anyone know if the existing one will support the dash speaker?

For anyone wondering here are the part numbers for the additional speakers:

Mid-range 70mm dash speaker: 5F0035397
Boot subwoofer: 5F0035382

Mine is booked in at the dealer for door card rattles. Only happens when music is loud and/or bass. They booked it in no problem and its being done on Wed. Only noticed the drivers door though passenger doesn't seem to vibrate though

Same question here. I was also thinking to install center speaker but no idea where to connect it

Not a part number but this might be helpful.
