Speedo has stopped working?!

Hi guys,


Just the other day my speedo stopped working and petrol guage just goes up and down !
Have heard it can be a broken wire or a speedo sensor ?
Has anyone resolved this issue ?
Any help appreciated

Check the speedo sensor, it sticks up at the back of the gearbox above the diff. Check to make sure theres a proper connection also

Can you see that from under the bonnet or would it be best to do under the car ?

Best to get under the car. It can be seen from the tom but hard to wiggle your hand in. Mines was anyway with uprated boost pipes etc in the way
