Weird one here guys,
Yesterday my car (57 FR170) has started squeeking when changing gear......

I don't know if maybe grease on the lever system has dried out or summit like that, is there any usual suspects to look at? Is it accessable at all?

Cheers.... A worried FR owner.

Sorted, turned out the ball joint and links below the stick we're dried out, covered them in lithium grease...

What a b@st@rd that was to get into though, managed to snap the chrome trim...

I done the exact thing however it is easier to remove for next time and about the crack trim, you can't buy it as a single item but as a whole gator!? ....just thinking of carbon wrapping :)

Oh.... the Toledo does this 1st > 2nd - I had hoped it was just the gaiter

S'pose I'd better investigate before it goes the way of my knackered window mechanism :(
