Hi I'm thinking of getting a stage 1 remap for my leon mk 1.8t the only thing worried about is the clutch going on me.... Had it done on my Saab and the clutch went with in a month... So will it happen again... Don't get me wrong I'm not go8ng to go to a back street person to get it done so any advise or help would be good... Thanks

Just do it.
I mean that with reasoning too.
I have a stage 2 car on standard clutch. I use it mainly on track and not had any issues at all.
It may not last as long as it would in standard map mode bit it’ll be negligible.
If going stage 2 there are upgrades to be had if wanted.
At stage 1 as long as you don’t just launch from standstill all the time it will give you plenty of smiles per miles.
If you are a traffic light Grand Prix driver it may wear out prematurely.

Yea defiantly, you'll be absolutely fine on Stage one with stock clutch.

When are you planning on getting it done and who are you getting it done by?

Be good to get some feedback on your experience and the performance increase from your perspective :)
