Steering vibration

Can anyone offer advise on this one? I am experiencing vibration in the steering wheel at all speeds had the car for 7 weeks. The tyres have been changed balance and trackings been done, but it's still there it gets worse at higher speeds and going over rumble strips etc.... I have a 2001 115 tdi se

Check the wheels aren't buckled, even a slight buckle will cause vibration. The trye fitters should pick this up on balancing...

Does the vibration get worse when you brake? can you feel an increase in the vibration via the steering wheel when you brake? if so you could have warped discs? also try rotateing the wheels around see if that improves matters?
if you have after market alloys check to see the spigot rings are in place? if these are missing the wheels wont center correctly on the hubs!
otherwise as posted earlier either buckled rims! duff tyres, badly balanced? also check the anti roll bar links and track rod ends?
