Sun-visor came off in my hand!

Seems ironic to be posting this while the UK is battered with storms up and down the country... But I had a need to pull the sun visor down last week, and as I did it just came off in my hand!

I didn't feel I used any excessive force... Pics show the plastic that holds the clip in looks to just have completely snapped.

SEAT say it wont be covered by Warranty as I cant prove excessive force wasn't used.

Could someone let me know the part number to replace the clips on it (hopefully the whole visor isn't a single unit!) and maybe some advice on fitting?

Looks like the part in question is
5G0857552CC3H8 (VW version)
5F0857552CCGQ6 (SEAT version)

£100 to replace..... Might just try and glue it all back together and hope for the best

Seems to be my word against theirs and I dont really hold any of the cards aside from the cash!

I got in touch with the dealer who sold me the car (Not a SEAT dealer) and it looks like they are going to sort it for me which would be brill.
