Swapping over back boxes

Hi all,

Has anyone fitted a back box from the more powerful models (with the twin tail pipe) to any of the lower powered models? I have a 1.6 and want to do something with the exhaust. Don't want a fancy exhaust system just something that looks a little better than the standard single pipe out the back.

Why not just get the back piipe cut off from the likes of powerflow and get a twin round exit welded on, or a halfords tail trim?

Failing that, the cat back will be what you need unless you cut in to the oem system (assuming the 1.6 and TFSi exhausts have same dimensions and fitments).

Is it possible to cut the single pipe and weld on a double from my existing back box? Have a Seat trim on the back but it still looks kack, even after cutting the existing pipe a bit to make it look slightly better.
