your best bet is to get it fixed because its hard enough finding Cupra R seats let alone just a drivers seat...I'd also look into whether or not you can put your current trim onto a normal Cupra Seat??
never thought of that!! but sounds like it could fit!

so anyone no weather i can strip back a cupra and cupra r seast and swap the trim straight over??

yes they are a direct fit. i got cupra R seats in my car

wat i meant was do i have to take the rail from passengers side (if it will bolt in) or do i take the seat off the rail and put it on the drivers rail??

Fancy selling your drivers seat? [B)]:D:p
well it was worth ago :p:happy:

HA! make me an offer i could not refuse  :ban:

anywho... you cant but a passanger seat in to the drivers seat.. the belt holders would be in the wrong place.. also they only use 1 bolt to hold the seat in position and thats are the very front by the handle to adjust the forward - back motion.

well i just took the back of the seat off in seconds!! coulndt beleive how easy it was, took to circlips off and disconnected the airbag and bingo. now got to cut a bit of stichtin to get the cover out the way to see if it repairable!!

doesnt look like theres any bolts atall in the seat its just rivet things that could do with some grease on also just grease all the main mechanism at the bottom back corners of the seat!! it takes 2 secs to take the back off the seat to make it easier to grease and then it takes 2 secs to put back on! dont even need any tools!! :D

rather than swap the whole seats round just uncliped the back from the passenger seat and clipped on to the drivers seat sorted in 5 mins. lol :D just left the airbag disconnected as its on the wrong side now.

no its definately not the leather lol, i imagine squeaky leather as a slight irritation...this is a friggin annoyance.everytime i move around in the seat it groans & squeaks...ill try greasing the joints up cheers coxy

i would only use wd for stiff things but not as a permant fix as it will eventually dry up or evap, grease is defo the best way to go! once its in the joints ull be sorted :D, this wat i was going to do as my seat was making squeaking noise every time it moved!! its bloody annoying lol

this one kinda creaks. it's not a squeek, but sounds like its inside the seat that creaks

yeah mine creaks! so bloody annoying makes your car feel like a nail!! ive been meaning to take them out and grease it all up! i reckon it could be the rivets in the hight adjustment mec.
