Temp Display

Morning chaps. I don't know if this is a problem but my temperature display keeps showing up in the morning, and every time I get in to the car basically. I normally just change the display back to show the clock, but even if I have been driving my car non-stop for over an hour with the heaters on full, it at some point displays the temperature again. It's annoying 'cos I have to keep changing the display to show the clock.

The temperature readings are usually between -1 degrees and +5 degrees. Might this have something to with anti-freeze? Or some sort of temperature sensor?

Any help will be appreciated.

Cheers.

it does that automatically under 5degrees C.
you'll also notice it has a snowflake symbol -> it's to inform you the weather is getting to freezing point outside...

Yes, that's exactly what comes up. And it's always below 5 degrees. So guess it is normal then!

This is something that's been getting on my tits for ages. Every 0.5°c difference it switches back from whatever I've got it displaying, back to the temperature. Seemingly even if it's getting warmer! I don't want to see it! Gah!

it warns you when it's between -5C and 5C. it's annoying, especially when it's up to -5 after being below.
was particularly annoying in norway when it would quite happily sit there in the background with -15 but warning you when it's -5!

i think the leon's outside temp sensor is fairly accurate. it's certainly within a degree or 2 to our other cars and the thermometer outside the window
