So after being advised to use shell optimax or tesco momentum I've come to the finding that my car actually runs better on Asda 95.
Since buying 18 months ago , 95% of the time used a super of most types with varying reactions from the car.
Sainsbury's fuel : the car hates it : patchy reving , pinking.
Shell optimax : no performance or mpg increases.
Tesco momentum : has been the fuel of choice, definitely an improvement over either of the above.
Well that was until 3 weeks ago when I needed a full tank for a 250 mile trip quite urgently.
Asda is my closest pump so thought , just for once it won't do any harm as its a motorway cruise.
I'm a convert , I've filled at 4 different Asda garages around the country and the results are the same, good throttle response , more aggressive engine note, more whoosh from the dv+ and better economy.
Anyone else found the differences in fuel?
